History

AHI was started by partners Richard Price and George Brengel in 1988. Rich and George had previously worked together in the controls industry before founding Automation Horizons. Rich worked for the Goss Company (the world's largest maker of newspaper printing presses), Johnson & Johnson and Walt Disney. George worked for Bethlehem Steel, Continental Can and Johnson & Johnson. Sadly, George passed away in late 2007. Rich continues to serve as company president.

Goals

We are committed to completing projects to our customer's satisfaction. As a result, most of our business comes from previous customers or through word of mouth.

Also, as certified members of the Control Systems Integrators Association (CSIA), we are committed to following excellent engineering practices and procedures, subjecting ourselves to an outside audit of our practices every three years.
